This iconic Piaggio Ape E has become an integral part of the classic Italian street scene.

The Ape E models are rare and highly sought after (series with the domed roof and all-steel body).

 

This is a renovation project, but the Piaggio can also serve as a decorative object.

 

The Piaggio was restored a few years ago, but unfortunately, it wasn't done professionally. At first glance, it looks good, but clearly needs a lot of work. The underbody panels are rotten, and several spots were quickly repaired with filler or filler. This Piaggio deserves the attention of a true enthusiast or specialist who can give it a new lease on life.

 

The technical condition is unknown. The hydraulic brakes appear to work, but they are sticking slightly. The engine block is loose. The Piaggio was stored in Italy in working order a few years ago, but we haven't tested it yet.

 

Unfortunately, there are no papers with the Piaggio; these have been lost over the years. However, there is an official statement from the Italian ACI confirming that the vehicle is not registered as stolen.
